Analyze an Advertisement of Pond's Flawless White "Love Conquers All"

I am a student of English literature at one of the private university. There are many subjects which I learn and one of them is Copy Writing. In this subject my classmates and I learn about the advertising. Some time ago our Copy Writing lecturer gave the assignments to analyze an advertisement namely  Pond's Flawless White with the theme "Love Conquers All". That our analysis is not about the product but what is the relationship between the Pond's Flawless White with "Love Conquers All".

"Love Conquers All" is the one theme of Pond's videos roomates. Tells about a poor woman and rich man who love each other. They are Rose and Tom. Tom's mother known their relationship. Tom's mother really did not approve the relationship of Rose and Tom because she is only a poor woman. This video consists of 4 episodes are:

Episode 1

When schooldays, after school Rose and Tom often spent time together under a big tree. Large tree which has been a blind witness to their love. When they're laughing together under the tree, Suddenly Rose ran from Tom because he knows her house and a school building burnt down by Tom's mom. Six years later, Rose is a school teacher and Tom and his mother Appear to serve a 7 ​​day notice of eviction on the school building. Rose decides to use Pond's Flawless White.

Episode 2

Rose and the kids sign a petition to save their school house and present this to Tom, who in turn presents it to his mom, who promptly shreds it to pieces.

Episode 3

Tom and Rose met in the old neighborhood. Unfortunately, the bodyguard of Tom's mom caught this innocent jaunt on tape and promptly presented proof of the budding friendship to Tom's mom. Tom's mom has a change of heart with this act of love from Tom and decided right then and there to scrap the project. Tom and Rose live happily ever after.
 

Based on some of the video above, in our minds inevitably arise the question "What is the relationship between the Pond's Flawless White with Love Conquers All ?"
 

I will try to give my opinion,,

In the first episode we know that Tom's mom did not approve the relationship of Rose and Tom. That is the reason why they had to part. In the video we also see when schooldays Rose has the dark circles under eyes really as the zombies. So she decided to use Pond's Flawless White.

After a few days using the Ponds Flawless White Rose, the dark circles under her eyes was reduced  and her face more shine. Without she realized she has made Tom fall in love to her  for the second time.

 

When Tom knows that the tree where Tom and Rose cavorted be struck down as kids. He saw Rose runs towards the tree, racing with the bulldozers to save the tree. She is almost struck by the bulldozer but Tom saved her just in time.

Tom's mom who viewed this act of love from Tom's change of heart and Decided right then and there to scrap the project. Tom and Rose live happily ever after.

And I think in this advertisement not only Rose who uses Pond's Flawless White but Tom's mom too ...
